Hi,

2020 is in full swing, and we are starting the year with determination to 
change Europe for the better. Next week the WeMove team will be meeting in 
Vienna, where we will discuss our priorities for this year. Please help us 
decide!

Just take a look at the beautiful mosaic we created last year from the 
multitude of images our movement sent in. This is the Europe we want to 
build together: a Europe of the people.


A mosaic of Europe

There are so many problems Europe is facing right now. I am sure you can 
name at least a couple of them off the top of your head: the climate crisis, 
migrants risking their lives in the Mediterranean, the Eurozone, growing 
inequality, tax evasion, and poverty just to name a few.

But there are also plenty of new opportunities! Progressive representation 
in the new European Parliament and the first promises by Ursula von der 
Leyen, the head of the new European Commission, are encouraging. Politicians 
seem a bit bolder, a bit more eager to push Europe towards change. And not 
without reason. Civil society, grassroots movements and ordinary citizens 
like us are breathing down their necks.

Change is in the air! Help us be part of this change. Tell us -- what are 
the most important issues our movement should campaign on?

Our community is almost one million people strong. Since our beginning four 
years ago we have proved time and time again we can be the catalyst for 
major change. We can mobilise online and on the streets, put pressure on 
politicians and corporations, express the anger -- and hope! -- of millions 
of Europeans.

But we can only be in one place at a time -- and the decision about what 
challenge to take on first is never an easy one. Let your voice guide our 
movement!
