     EUWASH/CENN: “Rehabilitation of Water Supply Systems” was Successfully Implemented in the Villages of Dmanisi Municipality.
     
      ევროკავშირის მხარდაჭერით მიმდინარე პროექტის“ წყალი სიღარიბის აღმოსაფხვრელად“ ფარგლებში, რომელსაც ახორციელებს CENN, წყალზე და სანიტარიაზე ხელმისაწვდომობის დისკრიმინაციისა და უთანასწორობის აღმოსაფხვრელად, წარმატებით განხორციელდა ერთ-ერთი საპილოტე პროექტი "წყალმომარაგების სისტემის რეაბილიტაცია" დმანისის მუნიციპალიტეტის სოფლებში: დიდი დმანისი და ვარდისუბანი.

       

      ინფრასტრუქტურული პროექტის განხორციელების  საჭიროება, ადგილობრივ WASH საბჭოების წევრებთან და მუნიციპალიტეტის წამომადგენლებთან მჭიდრო თანამშრომლობის შედეგად გამოიკვეთა. 

       

      სოფელ დიდ დმანისსა და ვარდისუბანს დიდი ხნის მანძილზე ჰქონდა წყალზე ხელმისაწვდომობის პრობლემა.  ინფრასტრუქტურული პროექტის განხორციელების შემდეგ, სასმელი წყლის მიწოდების პრობლემა აღმოიფხვრა. აღნიშნული ინიციატივის პირდაპირი ბენეფიციარების რაოდენობა კი, დაახლოებით 150 ოჯახია.

       

      პროექტის "წყალი სიღარიბის აღმოსაფხვრელად" მთავარ მიზანს წარმოადგენს კახეთისა და ქვემო ქართლის რეგიონებში სოციალურად დაუცველი მრავალეთნიკური სოფლების მოსახლეობის ჯანმრთელობის  და საცხოვრებელი პირობების გაუმჯობესება. 
     Within the scope of the EU WASH project implemented by CENN, in order to eliminate discrimination and inequalities in access to water and sanitation in the target rural communities, one of pilot projects “Rehabilitation of water supply systems” was successfully implemented in the villages of Didi Dmanisi and Vardisubani in Dmanisi Municipality.

       

      The initiative has been identified among the priority hot-spots as a result of close cooperation with WASH councils and local municipalities.

       

      In the villages of Didi Dmanisi and Vardisubani, there was a long-standing problem with the drinking water supply. After the implementation of the infrastructure project, the drinking water supply problem has been eradicated. The number of direct beneficiaries is about 150 families.

       

      The main goal of the project “Water for the Poor” is to protect and promote the right to health and adequate living standards of citizens in vulnerable multi-ethnic rural communities in the Kakheti and Kvemo Kartli regions.
