Dear signatories of the Hands Off Mother Earth (HOME) Manifesto,

It is alarming how geoengineering proponents are trying to fast track the use of these technologies. A lot of opportunities and concrete steps to advance geoengineering have happened over the past few months. Some of these are: the conduct of the UN Climate Action Summit which did not have democratic governance nor any limits on corporate influence and participation, geoengineering plans within the ISO, appointment of the ScoPex Advisory Committee to legitimize solar geoengineering, scientists proposing a giga-scale geoengineering project in Antarctica, and the blatant promotion of geoengineering through the HBO documentary “Ice on Fire”.

There is an urgent need to act and advocate against this technofix that will do nothing but further destroy the earth that we are trying so hard to protect. The HOME Campaign is working to mobilize our members and influence more organizations to join our cause.

As part of the HOME Campaign activation, you are invited to our first webinar entitled "The Biggest False Solution: an introduction to climate geoengineering and its promoters" on 07 October 2019, 8am EST/ 1pm CET/ 8pm GMT+8. Resource speakers for this webinar are Linda Schneider from the Heinrich Boell Foundation and Carroll Muffett from the Center for International Environment Law.

Il est alarmant de constater à quel point les partisans de la géo-ingénierie tentent d'accélérer l'utilisation de ces technologies.
